Poor People

Zheng Yefu was born in Leqing County, Zhejiang province. From 1928, he studied at Shanghai Chinese Art College and Shanghai Fine Art School successively and participated in woodcut activities of Yi Ba Art Community and Ye Feng Art Community. He was selected as councilor of the Heroine Association of Chinese Woodcut Field in 1938, then executive director of Chinese Woodcut Association. He was the dean of general affairs of The East China Branch of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, the director of Shanghai Slide Factory, the vice executive secretary of Chinese Artists Association and etc.
