Port of Doel

This picture gives a view of the port of Doel at the beginning of the 20th century. The quays were paved, and the shape almost corresponds to that of the current port. Perhaps we see at the bottom right the old mooring dike of the polder administration. The quay was constructed in parallel with the dike by the municipal administration in 1888.
