Portal illusions

Artist from Hamburg paints multi-layered 3D holes on flat surfaces. They create an impression of three-dimensional space as though you can put your hand inside and touch one of the shades of the gradient. He draws attention to automatism of perception. At Knotenpunkt festival in Hamburg 1010 created an optical illusion on the façade of a 5-storey building, and in February his first personal show in the US will open at Hashimoto Gallery in San Francisco.
