Portrait of Carlo Rotta

Carlo Rotta (1784-1855), a manufacturer and trader of soaps, is not directly a benefactor of the Maggiore Hospital. The benefactor is Giuseppe, one of his eight children, who names the Ca 'Granda, heir and asks that, in addition to his own, the portrait of his father Carlo and his wife Angela Maccia are also executed.
