Ca’ Granda – Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico
Milan, Italy

Cesare Carozzi, wealthy, does not directly benefit the Maggiore Hospital. His son Luigi (1864-1941), engineer and architect, rethinking the wish of his mother Sara, who had destined his estate for the hospital too, leaves in his will three million lire at Ca 'Granda; he asks that a room in the New Hospital of Niguarda be named after the parents Sara Radice and Cesare Carozzi and that they also appear in their commemorative portrait.
