A copy of the Strasbourg portrait from the second half of the 16th century. The painting shows Copernicus with a lily of the valley standing en trois quarts behind the inscription board, partially obscuring his figure. At the bottom of the composition there are a compass, a sphere (globe of the sky?), a pyramid and a book (table with a chart?).
