Portrait of Dionigi Arrigoni

Dionigi Arrigoni (1795-1867), grocer, named the Ospedale Maggiore heir, the portrait as commissioned from Gerolamo Induno, who only worked for the hospital gallery, on this occasion. A painter stylistically linked to the portraiture of Francesco Hayez, Induno represents the benefactor next to a small desk, painted with great accuracy, on which the will is visible.
