Portrait of Enrico Ballerio

The major Enrico Ballerio (died 1927) with his wife Caterina Guglielmini decided to honor the memory of their son Giovanni, doctor of the Ospedale Maggiore, who died heroically in 1917 at the front of Gorizia, where he served as a medical lieutenant, instructed the Hospital, to produce three commemorative portraits.
