Portrait of Euphemia Parker Grubb

Euphemia Brown Parker Grubb (1814-1894) was the wife of prominent iron magnate and abolitionist Edward Burd Grubb. Thomas Sully (1783-1872) was a portrait painter who was born in Britain but lived most of his life in Philadelphia. Sully had a great influence over Lancaster, Pennsylvania portrait artist Jacob Eichholtz.
