Francesco Predabissi (1770-1834), Milanese nobleman, councilor of the Court of Cassation. The first version of the painting, executed by the painter Scipione Lodigiani in 1859, was destroyed in a fire. The reconstruction of the work is entrusted to Giovanni Consonni, who mainly works as a restorer in the Hospital Quadreria, in 1891.
