Giulia Lucini Colombani (1851-1893), widow of Alessandro Colombani, one of the founding members of the "Corriere della Sera", died of tuberculosis at just over forty years. In her will, drawn up three years before her death, she decides to leave her entire substance, about 350,000 lire, to the Maggiore Hospital, after having planned a series of legacies for friends, relatives and service personnel.
