Portrait of Giuseppe Bergomi

Giuseppe Bergomi, priest, is president of the Congregation of Charity of Galbiate, to which he allocates part of his material goods. With a will dated April 27, 1868, he left the house where he lived to the Maggiore Hospital. The portrait is commissioned to Roberto Fontana, known among the participants in the annual exhibitions of the Brera Academy, both as a portraitist and as a painter of historical genre.
