Giuseppe Canzi (1856-1918), a native of Gorgonzola (Milan), as a boy in the capital was in search of employment; he was employed in a herbalist's shop. At the death of the owner, he not only becomes the new owner, but transforms it into a very early company, the first of its kind in Italy, even having commercial relations with America and China.
