Giuseppe Rattazzi (1793-1865), born in Ogebbio on Lake Maggiore, started as a simple apprentice, then associate of the owner, finally the only wealthy holder of a wine shop in Via Montenapoleone. He appoints his son Filippo as his heir and, relative to the sole property of the house Milanese Via Monte Napoleone, the Ospedale Maggiore if the son had no heirs. In the absence of descendance, the rest of his assets would have gone to the Institute of the Blind in Milan.
