Giuseppina Buttafava Valentini (1850-1927), originally from Melegnano (Milan), was a writer under the pseudonym Adelfo Eridanio, and translator of Byron. A leading figure in the Milanese cultural life, friend of the minister Agostino Depretis, ecologist and environmentalist "ante litteram" in his commitment to reforestation of mountain terrors in the Como area, does not leave the Maggiore Hospital directly as heir.
