Guido Marangoni (1872-1941) does not directly benefit the Ospedale Maggiore. He was an established art critic, curator of the Civic Museums of Milan, honorary member of the Academies of Brera and of Venice, creator of the Biennale of Decorative Art of Monza (which hosted four events before moving to Milan), founder of the Brianza city of Institute of Art, and a Socialist deputy to the Parliament from 1909 to 1921.
