Portrait of Julian Ursyn Niemcewicz

The portrait shows a graduate of the Knight's School and the adjutant of its commandant, Adam Kazimierz Czartoryski. Julian Ursyn Niemcewicz was a participant in the work on the text of the Constitution of 3rd May and a participant in the November Uprising. In the field of literature, he became famous as the author of the theatrical work ‘Return of the MP’ and ‘Songs of History’.
