Lamberto Parravicini (1825-1893), a doctor, worked for several years at the Ospedale Maggiore, assisted in the two epidemics in Milan in 1849 and 1854. He won one of the prizes that the benefactor of the Carlo Dell'Acqua Hospital had asked to be set up with part of his legacy for the best medical publications; he also works at the Place Pio di Santa Corona and finally becomes a professor of surgical propaedeutics at the University of Pavia. For two years he is in the Hospital Council.
