Portrait of the first son of Luis de Borbón, Infante of Spain, and María Teresa de Vallabriga. It was painted by Francisco Goya during his time in Arenas de San Pedro (Ávila). The child wears court dress with a dress coat, waistcoat, and knee breeches in indigo-blue colors representing the House of Bourbon. Propped up against a chair, there is a map bearing the inscription Luis María, son of his Serene Highness the Infante Luis and the most distinguished María Teresa Vallabriga, aged six years and three months (Señor D. Luis María, hijo de su alteza serenísimo Infante D. Luis y de la muy ilustre Doña María Teresa Vallabriga a los seis años y tres meses de edad).

This work is one of a pair. The other work is a portrait of the child's sister María Teresa at the age of two, which is in Washington's National Gallery of Art. Goya later completed new portraits of the two siblings: María Teresa as Countess of Chinchón, and Luis when he was made Cardinal in 1800.
