Maria Waleria Matejko (born 1836), sister of Jan Matejko, from 1867 the wife of Józef Golichowski, with whom she left for the USA. After their return, they settled down in Czerniowce, where they had a pharmacy. Maria widowed in 1898. The portrait was owned by the family, bought for the National Museum in Krakow in 1925.
