Portrait of Massimo d’Azeglio

Massimo d’Azeglio was a painter, writer and statesman who occupied an important political role in the Savoy Kingdom. He supported the liberal movement and Carlo Alberto, who was the same age as him; later he also became a Minister under Vittorio Emanuele II.
