Portrait of Michelangelo with a turban

The portrait, of which speaks us also Vasari in the life dedicated to the master, shows Michelangelo with a turban, at the age of 47 years and was carried out in 1522 by the painter Giuliano Bugiardini. Michelangelo the Younger decided to put it in the Room of Night and Day to go with his portrait carried out by Cristofano Allori. Both paintings are enriched by two identical baroque frames, specially made for the setting up wanted by Michelangelo the Younger.
