Pietro Lattuada (1736-1819), nobleman, soldier for 50 years in the Austrian army, retired with the rank of major, appoints the Ospedale Maggiore his estate of 1,300,000 lire, asking to be accompanied during the funeral by a battalion of soldiers "to be paid with double pay against him". In his will he also remembers the Pio Trivulzio hotel and the Martinitt Orphanage.
