Portrait of Rachele Brera

Rachele Brera (1849-1927), daughter of a wealthy functionary of the Austrian government, unmarried, lives with her sister Giuseppina. She belongs to a family of benefactors of the Ospedale Maggiore, with her sister and brothers Lorenzo, deputy head physician of the hospital, and Monsignor Carlo. Lorenzo had left his sisters, appointed heirs in the will, "verbally" to have legacies in favor of Ca 'Granda.
