Tan Zhongyi (born in 1991) is a Chinese chess grandmaster who held the Women's World Chess Champion title from 2017 to 2018, winning it by defeating Anna Muzychuk. She is also a former Women's World Rapid Champion. In 2024, she won the Candidates Tournament in Toronto, earning the right to challenge Ju Wenjun for the world championship once again.
