In 1927, actress Hélène Wnorowska commissioned the painter Amedeo Bocchi to decorate the game room of her villa and a full-length portrait. This was left unfinished because Hélène, tired of standing for many hours, decided to give it up. While maintaining a personal style, Bocchi was influenced by Divisionism, Symbolism and Art Nouveau: his contribution to the artistic research of the twentieth century is expressed through the development of a path patiently built around the pictorial value of light and the use of elegant lines.
