This portrait of Yu Su (1678-?) was made by Jin Jae-hae (1691-1769) in 1726 (2nd year of King Yeongjo’s reign) while Yu was serving as Dongrae Mayor. Yu wrote down what he felt at the sight of his portrait in a space on the left end of the piece when he was 62. The portrait depicts him in an official robe as a Grade-3 government official by wearing an official hat and a ceremonial robe with the rank badge of silver pheasant design and silver belt. The two letters written by Jin about this portrait still remain.
