Portuguese Railway Company (CP) plaque, representing the first company monogram. It will have been used from March 9, 1927, the date on which, by ministerial order, the government leased lines from Minho and Douro and Sul e Sueste to the company. It also appears as the company's identification on locomotives, coaches and wagons as well as official documentation stamps endorsements until 1947, when the company’s new identification monogram appeared.
