Post Card with inscription: Towe, May, and friend. Photograph in Grant Park. Although Atlanta experienced signfiicant fighting during the Civil War, this cannon are not from that era. Rather, the cannon dates to the Spanish American War (circa 1898) and found its home in Grant Park in the early twentieth century.
