Postcard Mariánské Lázně, Edward VII. and Franz Joseph I.

Postcard was made on the occasion of the meeting between two monarchs, Austrian Emperor Franz Joseph II. and English King Edward VII., in Mariánské Lázně on 16. August 1904. Mariánské Lázně hosted hundreds of monarchs, Europeans politicians and diplomats and boasted these visits, which deepened fame as a center of international political and social centers. But meeting of monarchs was one of the most important events of the city's history.
