Postcard:Old Faithful and Old Faithful Inn, Yellowstone Park

Travelers often collected postcards of the hotels they visited. Hotel guests enjoyed beautiful architecture, great views, and luxurious rooms, all of which often appeared on souvenir postcards such as this one. Staying in a hotel was one of the main attractions of a trip, as it offered vacationers an escape from daily life but with all the comforts of home and sometimes even more. This postcard documents one traveler's experience, with an inscription on the reverse side which reads: "One of the most novel hotels in Yellowstone."
