My beloved children!
I have already given several cards for you to people who have left here. I hope you have received them. Today I can mail you directly. We will probably leave here at the end of the month. The people from almost every other country have already been evacuated. We will have a lot to tell each other. The most important thing is that I will see you again, my darlings, and Erich with his loved ones. I am so incredibly excited I can hardly write. It is quite chaotic here. The Dutch are leaving today. I was thinking about being with you every minute of the day. The last mail arrived here on 26 April (a parcel). The mail service has probably closed down since then. Please write as soon as you can. Warm loving hugs for you
Your mother
