A chandlery is a place for the marketing of products made with wax. Chandleries shops were very important in everyday life before the extension of electricity. The applications of wax are very diverse (traditionally used for making candles, for waxing wood, textiles, paper and leather, is also used in electronics, weapons, medicine and cosmetics, ... there are over 300 industries that use it). Wax is the material that bees use to build their nests. It is made by young honeybees, 10 to 12 days of age, the secreted by their glands. It is believed that for the production of 1 kg wax, bees must ingest an average of about 4 to 12 kg of honey.
