Disney's 1992 film "Aladdin" is considered part of the Disney Renaissance of animated films made between 1989 and 1999, which helped bring the Disney firm back into the public eye and back into solvency. The film remains a favorite of many fans, partly due to the voice talents of actor and comedian Robin Williams (1951-2014). Williams is particularly remembered for his improvisational comedic skills, and these were utilized to full advantage in some of the musical numbers and action in "Aladdin."
