Special edition of the Belgian Post for the 13th Congress of the Universal Postal Union in Brussels in 1952. A copper engraving by Lucas Kilian from 1619 was used as the template. Under the General Postmaster of Brussels, Lamoral von Taxis, and his German Postmaster Johann von den Birghden, the imperial city of Frankfurt became the center of the German postal network from 1615.
