Seen here in the background, Herbert Felton was the first photographer to be employed by the National Buildings Record (NBR). The NBR was established in 1941 to record buildings under threat of destruction from enemy bombing. Here, Felton has been recorded by fellow NBR photographer, Frederick Palmer.
