The Cruthers-MacNaughton site, excavated by Archaeological Services in 1997, is a 19th century Euro-Canadian deposit located in the city of Vaughan, Ontario. This 1850s gunpowder flask is one of the thousands of artifacts recovered from the site. Stamped metal flasks like this one were the most common type available in the 19th century. This one was probably used for sport hunting.
