PPE Workers

Darren says: "I decided to paint a large group of PPE workers a few weeks into the lockdown as a tribute to all the hard work that people all over the world were doing under such testing conditions.

I hoped that by lining everyone up in such a cramped space it would highlight the dangers faced at a time when everyone was asked to socially distance themselves, and for some it being an impossible task.

It was a very humbling painting to produce, hearing from so many amazing people who were faced with real dangers and willing to make the biggest sacrifice on a daily basis whilst simply trying to do their jobs."
