President Grant's Landau

The original Studebaker collection included several presidential carriages, though not all were manufactured by Studebaker. One such carriage is President Ulysses S. Grant's landau, which was purchased by the company in 1910 at the urging of Clem Studebaker's son, George. It is pictured here in a 1915 parade with an actor playing Grant sitting in the carriage.
