Lukova was commissioned by 1199SEIU, the nation’s largest healthcare union, to create the poster for their march at the 2016 Pride Parade in New York City that took place just two weeks after the Pulse gay nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida. The Pride Parade had a record attendance of 2.5 million people.
