Prime Minister John Gorton Enjoying North Bondi

Mr Gorton led a team of lifesavers into the water in a relay swim against a team led by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr W.J. Aston. Mr Gorton swam about 100 yards into the surf and back to shore. Result of the race - a dead heat.
