Nineteenth-century print of six men playing cricket in a rural landscape. The print is composed of thin, detailed lines, coloured in with watercolour paint. The side-on view of the wicket shows a batsman, a non-striker, a bowler, wicket keeper and two fielders. They are playing on a grassy, uneven surface. In the distance is a field and forest. Immediately behind the cricketers is a marquee. The image is framed by a thin border, with "XIV" printed above and "CRICKET" printed below. The date "1837" has been written in pencil. Writing on reverse reads "14".
