Framed, colour, pen and wash print, entitled, "THE AUSTRALIAN CRICKETERS". Print depicts thirteen gentlemen in 19th century cricket uniform and one in a suit, sitting on chairs and standing on grass in front of a white marquee. Inscription on thick, rectangular, cream-coloured card attached to perspex above image reads, "AUSTRALIAN XI - 1882. / FIRST AUSTRALIAN TEAM TO WIN A TEST MATCH IN ENGLAND. / PLAYED AT "THE OVAL". AUSTRALIA WON BY 7 RUNS.' Names of players printed beneath image of each player reads as follows, with the letter 'e' replacing the letter 'c' in two cases: 'S.P. JONES. A.C. BANNERMAN. G.J. BONNER. F.R. SPOFFORTH. J. MCCARTHY BLAEKHAM (sic). W.L. MURDOEH (sic). G. EUGENE PALMER. G. GIFFEN. H.F. BOYLE. T.W. GARRETT. H.H. MASSIE. PERCY S. MCDONNELL. T. HORAN.'
