Prisoner's cutlery excavated from a rubbish pit at Pentridge Prison in Melbourne. Crudely made cutlery with bone handle and coppery alloy fastenings. Each handle has a roman numeral engraved into the surface to enable the cutlery to be traced and accounted for.
