Private weather station

An example of the type of weather station used by amateur weather enthusiasts to record weather observations. Stations can be simpler or a great deal more complex. If observations are reported using the WOW system various corrections must be applied to account for variations in equipment, calibration and exposure. For example this station is sheltered from westerly winds.
