Procession to the river

This fascinating group of four sculptures is believed to be a represention of the founders of Osogbo journeying to the point where they first struck the sacred River Osun, eventually making a pact with the Osun Goddess. These are among the scores of artworks in the Osun Osogbo Sacred Grove, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is located in the town of Osogbo in Osun State, in the South West of Nigeria.
