The photogravure, reproduced from an etching made on the occasion of the relocation of Simon’s body in 1724, shows the solemn procession through the city in honour of ‘Simonino’ that for centuries embodied the more festive and representative expression of the cult dedicated to the co-patron of Trento. It was celebrated, with quite variable frequency and with long interruptions, from 1589 to 1955.
