Professional Golfers Association Centenary Watch

This commemorative watch celebrates the centenary of the formation of the Professional Golfers Association of Australia in 1911. The Australian chapter was founded in 1911 and is the second oldest in the world. A group of 14 disaffected professionals, many expatriate Scots, were unhappy with how the Australian Open was being developed and banded together to elevate the position of the golf professional and to promote golf as a game.
