Professor Y. Goldschmidt-Clermont lecturing in the Main Auditorium

From 3-7 October a series of ten seminars were given at CERN on the results of the Berkeley International Conference on High Energy Physics. In the photograph Professor Y. Goldschmidt-Clermont is discussing the latest developments in experiments on mesonic resonances. (Part of this seminar was televised for a Swedish television programme and camera and lights can be seen in the photograph.) Dr. A. Martin writes in this issue about the theoretical developments reported at the Conference and short accounts of several of the major experiments are also given.
