Fondazione Museo Glauco Lombardi

Fondazione Museo Glauco Lombardi
Parma, Italy

The project, perhaps a first design for the fountain with an allegorical figure of Lyon whose printed version is exhibited in the Museum, was distributed in Paris around 1760 (inv. 964), shows evident baroque reminiscences, from the rock base to the Doric colonnade with statues, one of which is already in Petitot's notebook kept in the Louvre.
